Sushi was born May 3, 2002 and came to us July 27. Like Prosit, she comes from Cecilia and Ronny, but by
this time they had moved to their new house in Skutskär.
Sushi is, if she may say so herself, an exceptionally beautiful young lady. She is a seal bicolour, heavy with fine lengths and medium boning. Her head is broad with excellent profile, lines and mask. Her ears are well placed, but maybe somewhat prominent. Her definitely finest quality is the coat texture, which is incredibly soft and silky. The judge Janick Renault wrote, at a show in Norway, that "The coat texture is absolutely typical of the breed". What really sets Sushi apart from many other cats is her remarkable Ragdoll temperament. She is very sociable and good-natured, cuddly and charming. Judges like to come up with comments like "very sweet temperament" or "a real charmer". Some have just drawn big hearts on her judgement protocols! She is also a very confident and independent-minded little girl, who yields for few things in life. When Prosit comes into our bed at night, you can only notice it from a very slight vibration. When Sushi comes, you can't miss the four paws walking right over Dad or Mum or both of us. At shows, Sushi is completely "cool". When we have prepared her cage, she just steps in and makes herself

comfortable. Most times she even falls asleep
after just a short while. She is actually so relaxed that we have to take her out of the cage at least
fifteen minutes before she is to get on to the judge's table. Otherwise she may stand there yawning
at the judge! If she gets a chance to sit on Dad's lap among the audience, watching other cats being
judged, she becomes wide awake and interested and will do her best to charm the judge.
At home, Sushi is usually the one that gets Prosit going with play and mischief. She is incredibly alert, curious and talkative. Most of the time she will follow Mum or Dad, circling their feet and asking or commenting about everything: "What are you doing?", "Why?", "Where are you going?", "Can I have a taste?" "I want to come into the bathroom too!" and so on. There's never a dull moment with Sushi around! When she had her first litter, she got to show another side of her personality: She is a fantastic mother. The litter consisted of six kittens, but she did not see any problem but gave them all the same exemplary care. In spite of this, she found opportunities to take some time off to be her grown-up self. Then she would come out of the nursery to spend time with Prosit and us. In this way she managed to preserve all her energy and enthusiasm until the last of the kittens (Apollonia) had moved to her new home. Sushi's heart and kidneys were tested 4th May '05.
