| Baghi (Bagheera) is Sushi's son from her second litter, born 6th Nov 2005. He is yet another example that we are owned by our cats! Initially we had absolutely decided not to keep any of the kittens from this litter, since we already had Amanda. Later we decided to keep Benecia after all, but then Baghi took over. He turned out to such an unbelievably sweet, kind and cuddly cat that we realized we couldn't let him go. In only a couple of months after the other kittens had left us, he was such an indispensable member of the family that we couldn't understand how we could ever have thought of selling him. |
At five months of age, Baghi seems to become exactly like we hoped when we planned the mating. He has got his mother's lovely temperament, expression
and coat texture and his father's strong boning and chin, and also his length of coat.
Just like we did with Amanda, we will let him accompany his mother and older sister to a few shows, to see how he does and whether he likes it. If it works out he too may have a show career. First and foremost he will however, like our other cats, be a much loved family member and playmate to the rest of us. The future will tell if he will get an opportunity to meet some beautiful young cat lady. Our own females are out of the question, anyway. |
