Amanda is Sushi's daughter from her first litter, born on 19 June 2004. Already as a little baby she was so
extremely cute that we just could not face separating from her. Furthermore she is a blue bicolor,
which was an added attraction, since both Prosit and Sushi are seal-coloured (i.e. brown).
Amanda soon proved to have inherited her mother's will-power. One moment she would be incredibly cute and cuddly, only to a second later lead her siblings in a wild chase around the house. She was frequently the first to start a wrestling match, and the last to pull out. As we said, she is very cute and also has a nice pattern with a beautiful "V" on her face and two perfectly symmetrical white spots on her back. |
We started by letting her accompany her mother to a few shows and that turned out really well. She likes showing
herself to the judges and spectators and charms everybody. Her show career has also been quite successful, she
became Grand International Champion at age 16 months. She has also been nominated a number of times and was the
second best adult female of the Ragdoll Club in 2005.
When her mother had her second litter, Amanda immediately showed her maternal instincts. After only a couple of days she assumed the role of "supernanny" and helped her mother take care of the little siblings. We have taken this to mean "I want to be a mother too". Since we think that she is now old and mature enough, we will soon let her meet a suitable male. Amanda's heart and kidneys were tested 15th Dec '05. |
